White Chocolate!

Drum Roll.... Here is the Great Taste for the week!
I made this for Valentine's Day and I think it has become one of my favorite pies ever! It was so good and the white chocolate made it that much better!
I think next time I need to take a dessert somewhere I am going to double the recipe and make it as fruit bars.
Make a graham cracker crust in the bottom of a big cookie sheet and then making the pie topping on the top.
Doesn't that sound like a good idea? Enjoy the pie recipe!

White Chocolate Berry Pie

ingredients:
5 Squares (1 oz. each) White Baking Chocolate, divided
2 Tbsp. Milk
3 oz. of Cream cheese, soft
1/3 cup Confectioners' Sugar
1 tsp. Grated Orange peel, optional
1 cup Whipping Cream, whipped
1 Graham Cracker Crust, 9 inches
2 cups Sliced Fresh Strawberries

directions:
In a microwave melt 4 squares of chocolate with your milk. Cool this to room temperature. Meanwhile, beat the cream cheese and sugar in a small mixing bowl until it is smooth. Beat in the orange peel and melted chocolate.

Fold in the whipped cream. Spread this into the crust. Arrange your strawberries over the top. Melt the remaining chocolate and drizzle over the top of the berries

(I put this melted chocolate in a Ziploc bag and then cut the corner off just a little bit. This made it so easy to drizzle all over the top of the pie because it doesn't pour out of the bowl that easy. )

Refrigerate your pie for at least 1 hour. Eat and Enjoy! Makes 8 servings.
